At the same time he still carries out concerting activities. With a really great success he has given concerts both in the Republic and outside it. In 1996 together with the soloist Laima Vaikule and the children's popgroup DZEGUZĪTE (The little cuckoo) concerts have taken place in the Moscow concert hall Rossija, in Oktyabrskaya in Sanct-Petersbourg and in Madison Square Garden in New York.
Paying tribute to his favorite composer George Gershwin maestro and soloists of Latvia, as well as guest stars (Pauletta de Vaughn (USA), Freda Goodlett (USA), Bibul (Cameroon)) have prepared a special concert (on May 3., 4 1997 in Latvian National Opera house) dedicated to Gershwin's centenary.
He has composed 6 musicales (a special popularity was gained by Sister Carry (1978) and Wind Swans (1995)); the music to 3 ballets and music to more than 50 films and theatre performances.
He has gained love of his fans with his more than 300 songs combining intonations of blues and country music.



Raimonds Pauls and DZEGUZĪTE 
About 150 songs have been composed for children. Most of these songs were made in close cooperation with the children popgroup DZEGUZĪTE.
Just for the popgroup have been adjusted popular songs of the composers of the world as well.
Since 1993 numerous CDs have been recorded in Latvia (about 20), Russia, Finland, Japan.
